Hi Guys,  I'm new to this forum well I signed up ages ago but this is my first post :)

I've just ordered a Mk7 GTI from the dealers in Brighton.

Spec:

Carbon Grey (started off Midnight Blue but changed my mind)
Performance Pack
Adaptive Chassis Control
Panoramic Roof

Placed the order over the weekend as they were running a "cost price +£99" promotion on new cars.  The sales guy told me that he shouldn't be doing a GTI on that offer as delivery was supposed to be before end of September on qualifying orders.  Believe that if you like, you can never tell.  Rather happy with the result though as it feels like I'm getting some free options over my previous quote from them.

So now the 5-6 month wait begins... At least I have my Mk5 to keep me company until then. Insanely long time to wait though!

My first question - How long has the VW "track my order" thing been offline for?

I have joined the party late too! I ordered mine a week ago today. This site was posted recently and still lets you track your order.

Well I've read it's delaying orders and I'm still young enough to be able to turn around when reversing  :smiley:

Welcome to the forums mate!  Cheeky bugger, I can still turn around...just ;) What I can't do though is see through the car floor to any unsuspecting bottle that I might have missed  :grin:

Shame u didn't post earlier

Just cancelled my order yesterday, see spec below in my signature.  You could have taken my build slot potentially, it was estimated for late October delivery.
