Vag com required?
« on: 11 August 2013, 17:00 »
I have just updated the software on my rds510 , now dynaudio speakers dont work , rear camera not coming up either, doesnt seem to want to reset by pressing the 3 buttons either?  is any one selling there vag com or could possibly borrow one as i only require it to fix stereo, live in the highlands so dont think any one local will have one .

Or is there any cheap versions on ebay i could get just to get stereo working again ?

I think Ess_Three on here is from the Aberdeenshire area, not sure how far that would be to travel.

Pls don't buy a cheap one, these aren't reliable etc etc !!!!

PS You need to ensure that the cable that you have paid for (ross-tech etc) comes with access to the VCDS software.
In my mind, cheap ebay cable = no/poor software.........................!!
