Tracker is down - could be some updates for those still waiting for a confirmed build??

Yes, they've been updating it over the last month I think.  Maybe that's the reason.  Maybe, they are updating the tracker to be more accurate and giving us even more information?  Maybe.

It would be interested to see how many hits that page gets every day.  I'm guessing 8.50am its gets a lot of traffic!

The VW Order tracker is currently offline for maintenance, with the following message:-

There appears to be some other changes to the VW site, so let's hope it's a little more accurate when back online! :-)

Aye - very annoying.

I'm a bit annoyed that the dealer is saying to be 'confirmed B/W 40', but from what you guys are saying that's far from confirmed! Very likely to get delayed, particularly concerned because my spec includes the reversing camera. Would happily drop that if it meant I could get the car quicker!

I'm not aware that VW have ever confirmed an order more than 4 weeks before.  Not to say it can't happen but I suspect your dealer means UNconfirmed BW40.

I'm still waiting for the weekly text update from VWCS before I call them.  Will be posting the result later for you chaps.  I'm not getting my hopes up but I really want to move this away from the standard operating procedure of they say "sorry still not confirmed, expect to confirm next week" and we say "ok will wait another week" and then repeat this every week.  Its not getting us anywhere.

Big update upon return from Shutdown (assuming admin lot were off too)? "Check back in a few days"? 

Hoping that next Weds or Thurs mine is changed to "in transit".
