Wouldn't mind some average MPG figures during varied driving? And before anyone says "if your worried about mpg you should buy a GTD"

200 mile trip coming up on Sunday - I will get some figures from that and while I'm kicking around Saturday.

Planned to switch to eco mode on Sunday for the trip
Saturday - I will do a mix of normal, eco and sport

:) P.S. I have gone for the GTD and after seeing 19mpg earlier while nailing it - I'm glad I did

A little more subtle than the mk6 - must admit, I prefer the mk6 at the back, but then the rest is much better! IMHO

If that is a DSG (ssems to be from the very dark pics of the ambient lighting), eco doesn't do much for you apart from facilitate epically slow acceleration back up to whatever speed you set the CC at when something in front had slowed you down via ADC. There is the freewheel/engine braking but I can't see why VW could'nt have incorporated it into every driving mode seeing as it only kicks in when you aren't accelerating!
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

A quick question for you Rik.... How are you finding it to park & manoeuvre into difficult spots? I notice u have the DSG box and was wondering whether by switching between drive & reverse, the 'auto hold' handbrake is activated (thus making manoeuvring clumsy... Hope I'making sense)?

I know its a trivial question but I know its one of those things that will drive me 'Bonkers' in the long term.

Hope you're enjoying the car by the way!!! Very Jel...

(I suppose you could always turn the 'auto hold' off when parking to make things easier, but that would even bug me if I had to do it everytime)

I really hope someone makes a decent aftermarket rear  diffuser, the OEM looks like something off a Fiat Punto and make it look like it has a saggy arse....
