The choice of GTI over the M135 should be easy following a test drive of each.  Just ask yourself, if you could have instant delivery of either one, which would it be?   If it's the M135, fair enough, but if it's the GTI, I would wait for it.  The last thing you want is buyers remorse on a private purchase like that, which is why I'd go for the safe GTD option given your potential overseas move.

Looks like the consensus is forget my gti order

And either go for the fun now, the 135 or the sensible, the gtd company car !

Based on that response, it seems like your heart is set on the GTI...  For me it would all boil down to the likelihood of moving overseas and when that would happen.  If it was for certain, and in 2.5 years, I'd forget a private purchase of any kind and go for the company car lease, purely for convenience, and it's not like the GTD is a slouch or bad looking.  Tough decision though mate, don't envy ya'

Agree with this^ if i was certain that i'd be working abroad and wouldn't need to take my own car i wouldn't be buying a new car privately, keep the BMW and get a GTD from work, your hardly slumming it are you?
