De-cats whats the score?
« on: 02 August 2013, 10:45 »
I'm asking this because most of you lot run a decat. How in gods name are you passes MOT's? I'm looking to have a turboback at some point in time but was considering the sports cat route. I don't have the joy of being able to refit a cat for mots is that what u lot are doing?

Well you need a cat for an mot, most will swap it back in when the time comes. Sports cat will save you the bother of that.

Big risk for the tester though, means an emmisions test to carried out on another car. You can't just skip it. Not ideal especially when vosa can monitor the test and increasingly turn up unannounced.
