With my mk4 a heavy clutch meant it was on its way out... As pretty soon after it was royally slipping.

Not sure with the 6 speed boxes but the best mod I did to the mk4 was a mk3 VR6 clutch. The bite is awesome, makes my mk6 GTDs clutch feel like cheese.

you're looking at the clutch conversion and i'm pretty sure you can get a conversion for a 6 speed

My clutch has felt "heavier" than other cars I drive e.g misses feista and cuz type r. However it's not heavy as in I have to stamp onit just feel slightly heavier than the other cars but I put that down to the mk4 having a dual mass flywheel. Mine has been like this since owning the car don't tell me now I need a new clutch :(
