What tyre size for my tt comps

what do you guys run.

im currently running  225/45 R17

however need new tyres and want a little stretch. nothing too big was thinking of knoking it down to somewhere areoun 215 or 205.

what size profile would I require. am I right in thinking It will be about 205/50?

to be honest you are not even going to get stretch on a 205

Need a 195/35/17 and then they will look too small on a mk4.

Dont bother it will look wrong.

If you want stretch then get a bigger wheel.

17 can work but need to be 9" wide.

don't want mad stretch or out, just my arches are rubbing on the tyre when I hit a bump so tyre could do with being 10mm or so smaller in width

I ran 205/45 on my Bora with those wheels.
Had 15mm spacer up front and 20mm on rear
