Hey. Been looking through the golf brochure and had thought the mode button on the top left of the gear box was for people that ordered the ACC option and was confused how every car seems to have it. Just been reading the standard golf brochure and it says standard as coupled with a DSG gearbox and let's the driver select the driving style. It says there's normal, comfort, sport and econo. Now the question is, obviously without ACC this has no effect on the suspension but does it mean if you put it in sport it tightens the steering, quickens the gear changes and makes use of the sound actuator (on a GTD)? On a DSG there is a separate sport option on the gear leaver which lowers gearing. Would this also override the gears if you have it in D or does it have no effect on changing into lower gears and hanging onto them with the mode selected to sport and this needs to be done in addition?
Cheers guys.
