new girl saying hi
« on: 26 July 2013, 21:56 »
Since I have posted in the 'wanted' section, I thought it would be very rude not to say hi and introduce myself!

I'm Fay and I have owned my '88 Jetta GTI 8v for over 4 years. Hope you don't mind a Jetta sneaking onto this forum?! I originally bought it as my fish and chip car, as I also have a Corrado VR6 which I wanted to turn into a (mostly!) fair weather car, but whilst I don't spend nearly as much money on it, I've become as attached to the J as I am the C. I've often thought about buying a Mk1 Cabby as I have such a soft spot for them, but I can't bear to part with either of my current cars and 3 is pushing the finances a bit too far, I think!

Anyway, here are a couple of pics of my lovely Jetta (currently awaiting an MOT certificate after I carelessly snapped the wiper stalk...) and I've snuck in a pic of the C and J together on collection day 4 years ago!
