Acknowledging other GTI/GTD drivers

When you get your shiny new GTI/GTD will you be acknowledging other GTI/GTD drivers?

I will

When I first got my Scirocco back in 2009 not many were on the roads, I used to acknowledge other Scirocco drivers with a flash of the lights or a hand up. However, after a while there were too many on the roads to make it special - so I gave up after not getting reciprocal acknowledgement.

This used to happen a lot with my mk 6 - I certainly did it and had it done to me.  When the Guilietta first came out and my missus got hers all the Alfa drivers flashed as they went by, pretty cool I think!

I dunno...  What sort of wave do you think suits the GTI?  If it were a Bentley I could so a royal wave.  If it were Mustang I could flip the bird...
