Thought I'd pop on here and say Hi.  Might be needing to pick brians etc in the not too distant future!

Have been into Vw's for many years after seeing the light of too many minis in my yoof.
Currently running a 2003 T4 lowered on BBS rims, full leather interior etc.  However my past has included several Golfs, Mk1's both GTIs and drivers, 2 x Mk2's the last of which was a big bumper 16v which I should never have sold (dont we all say that!)

Been hankering after another as a toy and one of the old security guys where I work has an early 8v, small bumper, quarter light window model GTI, I've been badgering him that when he sells to let me know.

Well, looks like I have a new GTI, collection on Monday!  12months ticket, 1 owner from new with FSH, E registration etc

Will post some pics once it is in my mitts.

Down in Tiverton, just at the end of the North Devon Link rd.
Up your way fairly regularly, well Woolacombe, mortehoe, Ilfracombe etc.
