which size exhaust

As some may know, im putting the mk4 1.8t AGU back on the road. What i wanted to know is that what size exhaust ks good for the k03/k03s? 2.25", 2.5" or 3"?

3inch to 2.5 unless running a big map and turbo i think then go 3inch straight through

Been told by torqueflow (in bham) only need 3" if im pushing 300+ horses. So 2.5" should be good then? It will be straight through

well my car has been dead for the last few weeks but finally got it back and my dads also had a toyo sport decat 3" to 2.5" and then non resonated anni miltek cat back, now in debt to my old man for 2 months but the car sounds nice and drives better than before and no mapping

^^^ This. I'm running 3" downpipe/decat with a 2.5" Milltek catback :cool:

I had 3" downpipe..decat .. and 2.5" cat back on my old agu.. was custom tho :smiley:

have full milltek non res with decat and it sounds spot on not harsh/raspy at all like some of the 3" systems i've heard

My 2.5 system was more bubbly sounding than my 3 inch system I have now depends what your after.
Golf GTI ... What else would you have?
