Someone check my maths then.. :laugh:

Dealer price : £28805.00
DTD : 25328.25

Difference = £3477.
Percentage = 3477 / 25328.25 = 0.138
Which is about 14%??

Hold on, no it's 3477 / 28805 = 0.121

About 12% then.

Still not bad.

Ok here goes - standard car RRP

£25845 - DTD price £22961 = Difference £2884 x 100 / 25845 = 11.16%

Great saving. Savings were also the same on the options prices, had I chosen to order any.

So mistertee how far away from you has the dealer turned out to be? Maybe I was lucky but mine is only 8 miles away...

This is why I should have gone for DTD.  I used carbuzz, which was simple and effective and netted me about 9% discount... but not on any options.  I added quite a few options so this could have been a big deal.

Well, live and learn.

I'm trying to do more mental arithmetic and working on paper these days.   Keep my mind active  :smiley:

I haven't placed the order yet, I was about to click on "order", but I'm having a crisis about the colour

Matt Black - looks ok, but as a detailer, I'd like to get a deeper shine.
Pearl Black - nice! But I'm not sure how different it is to Matt Black, difficult to judge from photo's
Carbon Grey - Makes the car look like a robot gundam.

I've set myself a deadline of Wednesday, only been waiting 15 years!  From the looks of the build times, It'll be another 15 years before I get it.  :sad:

Carbon Grey - There's enough black/silver cars on the road already.

+ I'm a little biased  :laugh:

Not sure if it was just me, but i'm sure my dad's DBP wasn't half as sparkly as my old 55 plate MK5 GT 140TDI, or the 03 Polo GT that I had before it. Very shint but not very sparkly. Are they cutting back on the Mica?  :whistle:
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Flat black is a deeper black than pearl but it's a bugger to keep clean. I would go for pearl if you were going for black

I would have probably went with DTD if I hadn't had a p/x. Always concerned that you might not be able to sell it privately
