Protecting the interior
« on: 16 July 2013, 18:11 »
I appreciate that this is probably not the right thread, however I've not been able to find the info I need via the detailing thread. Can anyone recommend a good interior fabric, etc protector for the mark 7 as Scotchgard no longer supply and the other spray protectors I've found appear to be for furniture or fabric hoods?

G-Techniq I1 smart fabric. I bought a big bottle for me and my dad to share between our 2 GTDs, so he's applied his already.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

When applying the smart fabric - spray mist it on to the fabric and wipe the product into the fibres by hand using a rubber glove.

I would like to add this to my interior, its an 09 and has never had any protection on it before. Can I just add this on and wipe in or is it best to clean the seats first??

Another good one is autoglym fabric hood protector. It outdoes the gtechnic on quantity.

Was quite disappointed in the smart fabric.
