Just wondering how much i would get for my mk4 golf (AUQ) there is nothing wrong with the car its just a CAT-C so no one wants to buy it and if they do they are offering me silly prices like £800 so was thinking i would get more if i brake it ?

The car is faultless the front splitter has a few marks on it and has a little mark on the passenger door  thats about all thats wrong with it hear is the link to a add for the car tell me what u think i should do

car has some decent bits on it mate an might make you more cash breaking it as the cat-c will be putting most ppl off  :smiley: but you got a price in mind for the full car pm me

I no the cat-c will scare ppl of but i have been driving it around for 2 years now after the bump i had init  :embarrassed: i have been offered silly offers like i said i just don't think it is worth selling it under £1500 as the car has only just gone passed 79000 and drives so strong thats why i am thinking i will get more for selling it as parts the only reason i have been trying to get rid of it is because i cant afford the insurance and fuel anymore

Break it or just put it back to bog standard.. if its got mods ..and then just sell it for the 800-900 :wink: youll make bit back of any mods you got

do you have pictures of the damage as that will maybe help in the sale as ppl will know its not been a total mess just a small bump  :wink:

I have got pictures of when it was in the crash and the car was a mess it had to have the hole front end changed bonnet,driver wing , bumper , rads , driver door and new windscreen but had all used parts from scrap yard no pattern parts

As it stands it's a sub-£1000 car. I'd say there is more money to be had breaking it.
