Lcr shocks and springs fit a mk4 golf ?

My mate has a leon cupra r and selling his shocks . Will they fit my car got a mk4 golf . Tdi i no the springs are not for my car but i want the shocks for the audi tt anti roll bars as well as the drop links dont go on my shocks . Plus my car has done a 170 k and there a bit saggy ahaha

They will fit but the springs will sit differently due to the difference in engine weights, you'd be better getting some diesel ones.

Thanks mate just rely want the shocks and uprated top mounts not the springs i can buy new diesel springs as long as the shocks fit

don't the fronts run the other type of ARB mounts too?

Yeah, pretty sure the LCR doesn't have brackets on the front struts for the ARB.

I got the audi tt anti roll bar and drop links to go on with these shocks so wont be a problem .people are telling me they wont fit as the hubs are diff and the shock wont fit my mk4 golf .

The issue is that unless you've got LCR/TT/S3 wishbones you'll have nothing to attach the ARB to.

I'm sure it will all fit. The shocks are the same fitment and if you've got the ARB I can't see a problem. Get a pic of everything if you can and I can tell you 100%

The issue is that unless you've got LCR/TT/S3 wishbones you'll have nothing to attach the ARB to.

By the sound of the OP's original post this won't be an issue as the ARB connects to the struts on the LCR.

The cupra r leon the anti roll bars come off the shock not the wishboune like our ones .but i dont even need to worry as can still keep standard anti roll bars just the holes on the lcr shock wont be used .
