I messaged someone breaking a MK3 Golf about some headlights. Wanted to know how much they would sell them for, here's how the conversation has panned out:

Me:For someone who is clearly new to using eBay you sure know how to make potential buyer's not want to deal with you.
A word of advice:
I do not wish to give you my number as I would rather deal with any sale through eBay from someone with as little feedback as yourself. I won't be the only who thinks like this as it provides security in the sale.
There is absolutely no need for any buyer to give you, the seller, their number under these circumstances.
Think about that before you throw your toys out the pram with your next potential buyer.

Unacceptable for a seller to demand a phone number, it's against the rules and to also be so rude and offensive is down right ignorant.
