Gti Boot space
« on: 14 July 2013, 00:30 »
Hi guys

What like is the Gti for boot space?......am going to trade in my BMW X1 M Sport for a 5 door Gti and was wondering what the space would be like?

Cheers

Imo it's excellent tbh, i think it might be a little bit smaller than the X1 mainly due to the fact it's a hatchback and not an estate/crossover but as far as hatchbacks go i doubt it's far from class leading.

I had an Audi A3 Sportback Black Edition before the X1, so would it be much the same size as that?? :undecided:

The GTI has a bigger boot than an A3 mate, if you were ok with that then you'll be fine with the golf.

Just had a quick google and the A3 has 370 ltrs and the Golf has 380ltrs but i think the golf is more upright at the rear so has more "useable" space.

Plenty big enough to be honest and yeah it's a very good shape.

I find it tiny compared to my Passat Estate  but in reality, it's pretty good. The X1 is often criticised for it's small boot.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
