gearbox mount

Right just gone to change this and the 17mm bolt is not coming out!! It's turning but not releasing . I've looked at removing the bracket on the gearbox but the bolts are pretty tight against the body so can't see how these come out either. Any suggestions appreciated.

Looks like your engine mount is away if its just turning, try removing the 3 13mm bolts that go through the box into the mount and the 2 13mm bolts that bolt the rubber mount to the subframe and take the while thing out and try and separate it that way. (Remember to unclip the linkage)

Sounds like the gearbox mount to the right of the engine bay, as you look into it, not the rear engine mount as described above.

If the bolt is spinning then the nut underneath has parted company with the rest of the mount.

If you lift the gearbox slightly does the mount separate enough to get a spanner/grips on the now free nut?  If not, release the sub-frame mounting bolts on the mount, support the engine and 'box and then release the bolts holding the mount to the gearbox - attend to the errant mount outside the car.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
