I'd appreciate tips too.  Got mine back from its MOT, passed, no problems, except that there is a little play in the rear bushes which will need adressing before my next MOT.  I don't think i am going to give this a go as I haven't got the time for heavy jobs such as this, so my question really is, how much should I be paying fo both sides?

i paid £160 and it took the guy alomost 2 days to do it, luckily the price had been agreed first. Looks like abiatch of a job, some garages refused to do it and some quoted £250. Rides brilliant now.

After a few calls I've found a local specialist who's going to do it for £100! Bargain! I have already got the bushes from German & Swedish which cost me about £25.

If anyone in Hampshire area needs em doing & wants the guy's number, let me know!

cost me £60 at my local garage, 2 hrs labour, vw wanted £250, it's also worth spending extra on powerflex poly bushes......
