Looks sweet but it's neither a limited edition version of the mk3 or a 1.8t lol

Would buy it without the wheels :/

Granted, I did say it was a VR but there are loads out there with all the right bits.
Anni's are nice but few bits of red nylon dont make it special, do prefer concepts out of all the "special" editions but none are worth anything if they are rotten.

Sad really, I think if I was buying a Mk3 to make something special out of it I would buy an early poverty spec car so I can see the shell without any plastic trim hiding nastiness and use a rotten performance donor car for the good bits.
Whether you then fit the plastic bits is down to preference but if done properly you should get lots of rust free miles from it.

:(... For new floor pan, 2 sills, 2 full rear quarters and a respray they quoted me just under 2K !!! Don't know why Im even considering it tbh :/ maybe just cos I've had it for a few years now.

If i get quoted £2k i think i would seriously consider breaking, i'm hoping to get both my arches and other rust scabs done for a grand, but a new floorpan, sills and rear quarters, thats half the car that needs replacing!!! is that for the panels as well? why do you need whole new rear quarter for rusty rear arches when those weld in panels cover so much area?

Theres a guy selling genuine rear quarters on ebay for £130ish but might be 5-door in case that saves you some money.
