12-16 weeks seems very optimistic, I'd say 24 weeks.

Broadspeed is a web based firm specialising in discounted new cars ,they offer about £2300 off list.

Seriously though, don't bank on the car arriving in less than six months, good luck.

If you can let me know of any dealers that would be brilliant, in the meantime I will check out the brokers but prefer to speak directly to dealers as I had read about some horror stores about brokers.

As said above mate the broker will put you in direct contact with the dealer

I'm also having problems with my dealer offering discount... Any chance you could help me out?

If they just won't budge you gotta go to a broker.

I used carbuzz though I always struggle to find their website as they seem to share their name with a review site or something...  can't find it at all right now, so perhaps they've died off.

Anyway, the broker will put you in touch with a dealer who will give you a discount.  You take it or leave it.  From that moment on you are identical in all respects to a customer who didn't use the broker.  I don't think using this route is anything to worry about at all.

I would go to a broker, but I have a trade in.
Would rather go straight to a dealer and get a descent price!
