Automatic coming/leaving home lighting function
« on: 09 July 2013, 22:02 »
Does anyone know if, when the Automatic coming/leaving home lighting function is activated, it's the front DRL's that are activated? Also, if so, do the LED fog lights also come on? If the DRL's and fog lights are activated, this would look awesome imo

Thank you... I think VW missed an opportunity here, dipped beams seems a bit naff really. I'll have to get to understand VAGCOM... think I might be wanting to use it

Hi mate, congrats on the new ride! 8)  Does the new one work like the mk5? Or do you still need to flash the lights on exit to get the coming home lights to come on like he mk6?

Flash required, unless there is a setting somewhere to change it. I'll look again tomorrow.

The manual is very thick and on such a high tech piece of kit like this I'm going to read it - all.

Just seen the Xenon dance

Thats great mate thanks! Have a look if you can disable the headlamp washers as well? Apparently it washes on the first and then every fifth screenwash! :'(

Headlamp washers will probably be a fuse like the mk6. (36?)

Yes, they do splash the whole front of the car, OK for today as it has a million dead bugs on it anyway.

Why can't there just be a button to activate the washers if and when they are needed?
