Just watched episode 2 from Sunday night, got to the end and thought - what a waste of an hour. They spent 10 mins talking about cars and the rest was sh!te. Why on every episode do they think we want to watch them have some pointless and over the top race.

Like the race with the Taxi's, it was so fake and set-up. If they are gonna race at least race....not cars going through walls and cars through Limo's.

As for the Free runners again Trial bike....WTF...its a car show, it had Zero relevance. I think they have just run out of ideas and are just making up silly sh!t to do.

Dont get me wrong, I have loved the the entertaining things they have done over the 11 series, but  does anyone else think its getting a bit stupid now....at least spend 20-30 on cars stuff and maybe even review a car we might buy.

Seems Fifth Gear and some internet shows like Drive and Motor trend do a much better job....

Anyone else feel the same?

Who on earth told you it was a car show?

For me, the best bit about last nights show was seeing Dougie Lampkin, sod the 'free/set-up' runners!

For me, the best bit about last nights show was seeing Dougie Lampkin, sod the 'free/set-up' runners!

Its the way it was so fake, the free runners jumped through "glass", there was perfect camera shot in every hall way....bet it took them 5-7 hours to shoot a 10 min race....

Just get bored of it...

The mono and Ferrari bits were about cars. The mono looked brilliant but a bigger engine would make it more awesome

I did enjoy the Ferrari M12 at the end but the rest was pretty dull.

Its primarily an entertainment show and, like all entertainment shows, is highly scripted to to save time and money. I still enjoy it but some of it bores me. Some of the editing and visuals during the supercar bits are pretty good, better than any other car/entertainment show in that respect.

I agree, the last few series have been going down hill. I thought this series they'd had a budget cut or something because it's just boring and silly. Like the race last week in the "rented" car and the constant crashes.

I am an avid fan of Top Gear though, so I will still watch but I'm losing interest in this series slowly... :embarrassed:

It wins light entertaiment awards! What else do you expect from it?

It has a car theme, they smash stuff up, cheat in races, just like the Wacky Racers.

They do have some nice cars on there and the News is interesting.

I love it!
