Another One Bites The Dust
« on: 07 July 2013, 22:32 »
Yeah so, story has it, had my Mk3 for 3 years till now, was my first VAG car and a real gem, never missed a beat. I had put about 20'000 on it and was my child, spent time sourcing black interior, fitting remote central locking, red dash light, Corrado G60 wheels, door cards, chrome handles, sills and pillars (Was originally a 1.6 CL so trim was grey/boring, more black was needed!).
The irony behind the fire is incredible as it came 3 fold... but I have told the story too many times now, have some pics, I am looking at either a mK2 1.8, mk4 TDI SE 110bhp, or a Seat Leon mk1 as my next car.

Gonna miss this girl.
Word of warning, if you love your car, carry a bloody fire extinguisher you fool of a took!

I have a powder one in the boot, worth carrying for this very reason.
