Hi been signed on here for a while but never posted.

I have had a fair few VWs over the past year or so here's some of them

Polo coupe 1.4 16v with CBR600 bike carbs

Mk3 1.4

Mk2 1.6d 4 door

13s - never again

That's just a few all bought standard and I've just had my fun.

So time for something new ...

Bought this 2 days ago hasn't been cleaned it what looked like a year and had been living under a tree so have it a clean and here's the outcome

Mk2 GTI 8v


Worst side, trim missing and rust on the rear quarter



Plans for the car are sort the rust (respray ideally) I will confess it will be going lower and wheels are undecided but its staying subtle.. Also new interior as the stitching is all split

Thank you mate now looks like this had some fresh ra's laying around with new tyres on so decided to lower it abit.

Looks alot better side on as the splitter is rank ill be getting a cl spec one soon

Gti looks really nice.
Will look better with a cl splitter, the proper size tyres on the new RAs make such a difference!
Is there many VWs in Tring? I'm not far away in Leighton Buzzard

Erm we have a nomads meet first Thursday of every month at the cow roast pub in tring usually has a good turn out...

Yup I really need a cl splitter its embarrassing at the moment
