I'm 95% sure they fold when you lock the car

Yes. And unfold on ignition. Can be disabled if you want.

Haha fantastic  :cool: We have a lovely promenade here in the west of Ireland and I was getting a lot of stares as I drove around today! The white really gleams in the sunshine!

For me I'd prefer it if they unfolded when the car was unlocked.  Still, it's more than mine currently do!
