HELP Vw golf mk2 with mk5 Gti dsg running gear help

All just wondering has anyone done this as I have bought a cat d Gti mk5 and what to put it all into a mk2
Where can I get info

Seen it done at edition38 was a red mk2.
Seen a pvw mag too.
Best off doing google search bud

I remember someone posted a link in the mk2 section to a white one that had everything swapped over including the dash.

It was really nice.

there was an article in the pvw mk2 madness issue, a orange mk2 with the 2.0 tsfi engine, think it was a manual gearbox though.

to be honest pal. its just a case of getting the mk5 engine management back past the ecu and to power and earths. after all that's what all cars run off 12volts.
