brake setup cross model

Hi guys i have a P plate Vento tdi that have 4 stud solid discs is there is list on here somewhere or does anyone know what over set up will fit?

i know of a 51 plate 1.0 polo in a scrap yard that has vented discs
i`d like to up grade but dont want to go 5 stud

Any help would be great

You can upgrade with mk2 Golf parts, Polo parts will be no good.

you can fit mk2 golf gti 8valve vented discs and the thinner pads that go with them. no need to change the callipers.

I didnt think it would work cause the solid disc on just fit in the carrier? And I thought the vented discs were thicker?  Are the calipers the same then?

is there any chance you could put a picture up? just to confirm it for you. or you could take of a disc and measure it? if its 239 diameter then the mk2 vents and pads will fit. or if you go to ebay uk and type in mk2 golf gti brake pads and take a look at the third one down the page to see if they match your own>

that could be the same as the mk2 golf 16v. not just a disc and pad swap after all.
