MDI connections
« on: 03 July 2013, 21:18 »
Hi all,

Can anyone confirm that these connections are still mounted in the armrest please. I've specced it based on the mk6 fitment but didn't check it is still the same for the mk7! I'm guessing it is?!

Cheers

I think it's in the glovebox.

Nope, it's now in the cubby hole behind the gear stick under the AC controls.

They are where the ashtray is in the MK6, not the armrest. The armrest storage is massive in mkvii compared to mkvi

Is that where you can put an SD card or USB stick? Thanks for the pic Jimble.

SD card is in the glovebox.  Well it is with the nav units anyway.  I think same for USB but not 100% sure.

Cheers Jimble and all for your replies.

Could've sworn I'd seen it in the armrest in the mk6 but there you go. Never used this cubbyhole at all in my mk6 GTD so this is good for me!
