Bit skint at the mo and was wondering how hard it wud be and of even possible to take my rear wheel bearing off my breaking golf 8v and put it on my everyday golf 8v ? If so...how hard is it?

If the discs are ok on the breaker then just swap the disc over, you wont be able to get the bearings out of the disc to re-fit in yr disc. Think a rear wheel bearing is only about £12 tho bud

Like already said, just swap the discs over as you'll never get the bearing out of the old ones intact, ideally put some new bearings in as they are cheap and a weak point on mk3's.

you can knock the bearings out with a brass drift if you really want to. but you shouldn't really want coz they dirt cheap anyway. mind you if your budget is tight. just put on the other disc if its in good nick. mind you don't overtighten the nut. your meant to just feel the play and no more with them twin taper bearings.
