Rear Doors Will Not Open

hi, been advised to repost this here, so here goes wondering if anyone can help got a 1.8 mk4 golf gti, problem is the rear doors wont open both n/s/r and o/s/r from the outside but work fine from the inside  a guy said possible deadlock fault or broken wires ? any other info would be appreciated ! thanks in advance

try pushing against the door while you pull the handle. it could be that the cable that goes into the handle is too tight.
