rear doors wont open

hi, wondering if anyone can help got a 1.8 mk4 golf gti, problem is the rear doors wont open both n/s/r and o/s/r from the outside  but work fine from the inside    any info would be appreciated ! thanks in advance

Good luck with this common problem, doors not opening from the outside suggests possibly a fault with deadlocking, possibly broken wires between the door itself and the "B" post on both sides
More common on these Golfs is the door not opening at all!... inside or outside
