abs light and airbag light

my abs light had blown, and need a new one for mot. i got a second hand one for a couple of quid on ebay, but the two light dont light up at the same time, or stay on for the same amount of time.

when i first turn the key, it sotimes will just light up for a second then go out? but the airbag one stays on for a few seconds then goes out.  is this normal?

the bulb had been gone since i got it so not sure how it should function
