Decent Alloys
« on: 30 June 2013, 13:23 »
Two of my wheels have cracked, which sucks.

I can't see that I'm gonna be able to replace them and seeing as it seems very much like the initial damage to my wheels was caused by someone who had them before me, I've kinda lost faith in trusting second hand wheels so I want to invest in some new ones.

I've had a search around and my main problem is knowing what makes or stores are actually going to be good quality.

I quite like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18-BLACK-HASTE-ALLOY-WHEELS-FITS-AUDI-A1-/300922441674?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&fits=Model%3AGolf%7CPlat_Gen%3AMK+IV&hash=item4610600fca

But I've never heard of inovit and I've read various reviews saying they arent any good.

I want quality. Any suggestions on where to throw my money?

I have had 3 sets of inovit alloys and they are very good quality, much better than other that are available.

Thats good then, I was probably worried about nothing anyway. I'm a proper grandad driver so they won't have to put up with much. My old ones cracked due to damage from the previous owner that I hadn't noticed.

Looking forward to new wheels but a bit naffed off to have to spend out even more money... bloody cars.

Well, in that I don't rag it around at all. I just drive at a normal pace and see how high I can get my MPG :D
