Brake discs and pads

Any of you guys got these discs on?

Wanting a heads up incase I buy more cheap ebay rubbish

Not me. I bought my front discs from nextdaybrakes and front pads from camskills. for the rear I just went with the cheapest option from ECP.

I would just go for standard minted discs and pads rather than drilled/ grooved. You'll save yourself about 60 quid too.

Drilled and grooved are unnecessary on a MK4, they will just cause your pads to wear faster.

Decided to just get a set of discs and pads from euro car parts , only £30 for the rears so fingers crossed ill sail through mot now.

Yeh I checked them aswell but Ecp have a nice wee sale on. Even without the discount code working I managed to get a pretty good deal at £15 a corner for eicher discs and pads which should do me fine till I decide to go bigger on the brake front

Eicher are pretty sh!t IMO for pads. Go Pagid next time.  :)
