Golf Mk4 RC Car Shell
« on: 27 June 2013, 15:23 »
Thought i'd show off my handy work!

Golf Mk4 shell on my HPI Sprint 2 1/10th scale car!

Ignore the wheels i'm waiting for some better offset wheels - 1/10th BBS CH!
I have tidied up the arches since, think it just needs a tax disk and a registration plate next haha!

The panel lines and parts need more definition,  especially on the bonnet / grille area as everything seems to blend into each other... AND WHEELS SPACERS!

hmm maybe fine brush, a steady hand and black paint to make some panel gaps

I've got some bigger offset wheels it's just because the shells so low I can't larger offset wheels at the moment!
Need some longer struts to raise the shell.

Grey might be better so as to not accentuate the lines too much?  Or even a super fine permanent pen for added detail maybe?
