Colour MFD car image
« on: 27 June 2013, 04:39 »
Useless question of the day. Anyone know if the car image that appears in the colour MFD matches the actual colour of the car itself?! I noticed the one in my pure white is white! Actually as I post this I realise the answer is no and it's a daft question but I'll ask anyway... Will carbon grey owners be reminded every time they open their door that they picked the wrong colour?

From what I've seen, it's white regardless of car colour, which must mean that white is the best, right?! ;)  I'd even go as far as saying that it's Pure White and not Oryx White!

But the doors, which without them you'd fall out, are TR - which makes TR the best, right?!

I did wonder if the image of the car used in the "car" menu on the head unit will be a GTI rather than a GT in other trim levels?? I haven't seen it on a GTI yet.

For a colour screen it doesn't seem to pack much colour. They were charging £135 for this when it was an option?
