Jokes aside when I bought my car it came with Borbet As on it, the guy gave me an unlocking key for the locking nut on the centre cap, however it transpires that it is not a fit. The nuts are rusty anyway, so I have new ones on the way. However I still need to get them out.
I have tried making a makeshift spanner, no luck. Because of the nature of the nut, one of those unlocking devices with reverse gripping threads won't work. Oh, and they are aftermarket (Not Borbet) nuts, so i can't re-order a key.
Tomorrow I am going to try grinding a slit into it, and use screwdriver (impact driver) to turn it out like a screw (hopefully)
Was wondering if any of you guys had any other tips or stories?
