Golf failed its mot on emmissions, both hc and co were well over the limits, engine is a completely rebuilt unit only covered around 10,000 miles and has had two oil and filter changes, plugs and leads too, had a new cat fitted at the same time, coulld this be the lambda sensor packing up?
