NI plate transferring.........
« on: 26 June 2013, 20:08 »
Bought the missus a new daily a couple of weeks ago, and it was originally registered in NI.
I've had a look on how much its worth websites, and they are saying in the £400 region. I honestly think thats very optimistic, unless half the population are called, or have the initials DEZ!
Obviously neither me or the missus go by that name so I want rid.
I've had a look on DVLA site, but there's not any info on sort of exchanging a plate. (Doubt many would do it just because they don't like the registration!), but I just want the car looking like a standard UK model is all. Anyone know if I can simply exchange it, or do I have to apply for a new one and stick the old on retainer and sell it?

if you dont want the plate, go to DVLA ( quick, most offices are closing soon ) and request a english reg.

they will then issue you one for that area, age related to the vehicle.

you will need the complete V5.
