I'm going for a night blue GTD and these look great. What products have you used Ap69? Would be nice to see some more pics of the finished, er, finish.

nothing fancy or expensive, i took all the wax off last fri using a degreaser (took the day off to play with her!) after taking del on Thursday.  Not sure what it comes out of the factory with, or whether the dealers put something on it but it was poor at best.  Streaks and a long vertical one foot long under the wing mirror on drivers side surprising, it didn't bead water well when i washed it before putting it in the garage in one of the pics.  used Tcut blue colour, its a mild T Cut compared to a traditional pure T Cut for paint 'cutting' it also contains a wax. (you can see it on my car care toolbox in one pic im about to upload) . Put plenty on with a rotary pad electric buffer.  Polished it off with 3 every decreasing 'roughness' pad last being lambs wool.  I then did the same again 2 times with just a Carplan blue colour wax. Front bumper bonnet and mid part of door down 3 coats. if you scroll up there's a pic showing the shine, which im delighted with, sheds water, gave it a quick clean yesterday as live in the country it was muddied up since Friday, so there was plenty on it, just washed off with normal mains hose with nozzle on, chamois finish.

Very nice AP69, thanks for the info, definitely worth doing the additional layers. Some of the pics aren't showing but looking great in the others.

It's definitely become my favourite colour, I was going for CSG originally, but I felt the night blue will be more interesting to look at over the few years I'll have the car. The CSG just looks badass all the time, which is no bad thing of course :)
