Removing b pillar trim
« on: 24 June 2013, 19:09 »
Can anyone tell me how to remove the b pillar trim on my 5 door golf? There is an annoying rattle that I'd love to fix.

Is it just clipped on like the a pillar?

There is definately one screw behind the airbag badge, that just pops off to reveal a torx screw, i think the rest just clips in though and is supported by the rubber seals?

Go to your local vw parts department and ask them for the blown up picture, that'll show you everything you need to know.

Assuming it is on similar lines to the mk5 , then there is a vortex thread

That'll be for the lesser door model Jimble.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
