They're plain wrong on a GTI (or any non-agricultural vehicle) IMO. Questionable benefit too, not to mention having to drill holes to attach them.

What next, a tow-bar for the cattle trailer or a set of bull bars?  :grin:

I think the holes are already there but i'm not a fan either! :sick:

I think at least one or two "discrete" holes need drilling, at least that was the case in the mk5/6.

Yeah it's like buying a cool bicycle and slapping a set of panniers on the back - ruins the look! :grin:

I'll still be having mudflaps on my Mk7 GTD, had them on all 3 Mk6 GTD's so far!
Picked up 02.09.17 Mk7.5 GTD Isaac Blue, Manual 5 Drs, DCC, Reversing Camera, Keyless, 90% tints, Heated front screen, Mudflaps all round

Look very wrong on a GTI and need removing every 6 months to clean inside the lower wheel arch
