We're getting a few big thumbs up for Dodo Juice Diamond White (Hard Wax). I know they make great products.

Think I'll treat myself to a tub when I [eventually] get my pure white GTD.

Keep them suggestions coming

I have tried a few of the others mentioned but always come back to Collinite 476S

It seems to last for months and gives a great shine, it also repels Seagull crap which unfortunately is a problem where I work

I've used Gtechniq C2 sealant on white paint for the last 3 years.   I would never go back to a wax now !

Advantages for me are :-

-It's so easy to apply (it dilutes with water too)
-It has UV fllters (to prevent or slow yellowing)
-It's a sealant and can be used on paint, glass, black trim and alloys - all to good effect.
-Gtechniq are at the forefront of sealant technology - supplying Formula 1 teams (Force India) with sealants.

It kept Mrs G's white Renault paint spotless for three years.

Sounds too good to be true  I'm intrigued though.

How exactly do "you" apply it? Thx

It just sprays on and buffs off like a Quick Detailing spray.

I know what you mean ... it does seem to good to be true as it's just so quick easy to use  ... it took a few months of use for me to believe it really was adding protection  ... but having it on my alloys over Winter was the eye opener for me.

Quote from Gtechniq Forum :-

C2 can be applied directly onto clean paint, or on top of another coating (eg C1, a wax, a sealant etc).

There are several ways to apply this, it's ultimately down to user preference. Simply spray neat onto the paint or onto a microfibre cloth and then spread evenly over the paint, do another panel or 2 and then go back and "buff" the panels up....DONE! It's that easy.

The coating doesn't need time to cure, once it's buffed off it's ready to get wet!.

C2v3 can be diluted further (e.g. 1:2 or 1:3) as a "top up" to keep the original coating working nicely after washing.

C2v3 works on paint, glass, plastic, chrome trim etc.

I got mine direct from Gtechniq website :-

http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars/exterior-coatings/c2v3-liquid-crystal/

You can pay with Paypal which makes it quick & easy to checkout.

Alternatively there are a few online places.

http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/gtechniq-c2v3-liquid-crystal-100ml.php?osCsid=8f3c181dd755ffa5f9a50c0bddcdf184

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gtechniq-C2V3-Liquid-Crystal-Sealant-100ml-NEW-C2-V3-/261202365440

Unfortunately there will be p&p charges with all these, but it still comes out at less than £10 delivered and well worth a try IMHO.

Thanks pal. What about tar removers? What would you recommend?

If I got any tar (and you will with a white car ) some spots will come off with a bit of C2V3, but other more stubborn tar spots will not come off so easily.

For the stubborn spots I use Autosmart Tardis, followed by a quick polish with Autoglym Super Resin Polish followed by Gtechniq C2.
