Removing Archs and trim.
« on: 10 August 2005, 21:18 »
Hi guys.

I Have a silver MK2 gti and want to go for a euro look.

I currently have new CL bumpers with the chrome strip and was wondering how to remove the arches?

If i remove them will there be any holes underneath?

Thanks

Pre 88 golfs I think it is have the side trim glued on, after that year they clip on so if you take it off you have to cover up the holes for the clips. Think you can take the arches off with no problems tho, I believe they rivet on inside the arch, so would leave no external marks.
