Great pics. Candy White looks so good and agree totally with the colour coded lip.

I am confused though, was the car was alreay remapped to 270bhp when you bought it ?

Did you not think it was a bit quicker than it should be ?
Mk6 GTi - returned to leasing company after 3 great years and replaced with :

Mk5 GTi - Edition 30 - Revo 1 and some tweaks - 310 bhp. Its a better car than the Mk6  - Now sold and replaced with :

Mk6 R - Rising Blue 5 Door. Won't be standard 270bhp for long

Family Car : Mercedes ML420 with 360 bhp
Looking at Porsche Macan as replacement

Nice pics at Haigh Hall I assume.

thanks mate. yeah pics were at haigh hall. it was a last minute decision as we were struggling for ideas on a location. to be honest, I think the pics would have been great anywhere considering the weather on the day.

great features all round mate. spent most of my sunday afternoon reading what everyone had contributed to the issue.

no had no idea about the map. even when I was asked before it went on the rollers I advised it was a stock engine. as said in the feature, I'd been driving a 130bhp TDi for the previous 4 years so the increase in power felt great but I wasn't really able to gauge it against a stock mk6 as it was the only 1 I had test driven.
