I'm over in California this week "on vacation" and I've seen loads of MK6 GTI's about - the vast majority of them in CSG. I have to say its a stunning shade in the bright California sunshine!

Another reason why I like the TR, as it all blends in

Is the CSG a GTi/GTD only colour? Can't see it when speccing a standard golf.

Yes, exclusive to GTI/GTD.  However, for some time it has not appeared on the configurator so I'd take any omission with a pinch of salt (if that is what you are using) and ask the dealer to confirm with Germany.

Yes, it was introduced in the UK as a GTI/D exclusive shade with the mk6 and thankfully has been carried on with the mk7.

you TR boys don't take the hump with me but it looks horrendous on the mk7. White is so much better due to the fact it shows all the lines and contours way better. Black isn't any better either. the red seems flat in comparison to even the carbon grey. is an individual choice though but it never crossed my mind to even consider red or black.

I agree that the red imo is not great on the GTI however with the santiagos that Mark has ordered I think it will transform its look a mean looking beast
