The GTI red accents might make a difference in colour choices for some who are going for GTI as it does get accentuated differently but in my opinion whether it is GTI or the GTD, Pure White is way out ahead as best colour for this MK7 lines and was my preferred choice from outset regardless of paint choices to choose from.

If there was no white it would definitely be the carbon then Blue and then Black (despite having that now and knowing what a pain it is)

Check these GTD photos out and do maximise to desktop size to get real detail and just see how the white really highlights all the features and lines and works so well with chrome http://www.caranddriver.com/photos-13q1/502214/2014-volkswagen-golf-gtd-photo-505440 :)

I am liking the CSG a lot, especially after seeing our favourite A1 S-line in the area at the local Aldi carpark again today (must be an employee's, it is there all the time) in Daytona Grey pearlescent. I don't think the missus would forgive me if I got a similar grey, she's planning on getting the A1 in that colour at some point when she has to drive herself to work.

Looking out on the road tonight it seemed like in my neck of the woods, after White (40%), shades of silver/grey (25%) are the next popular car colour, followed by metallic blue shades (10%) and black (5%), leaving the reds/greens/yellows in the minority. I need to stick with Tornado Red (I think...)
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

That was me, I'm redeeming myself now.  However I think white is by far the best colour for the GTI 7 and the Mk 6 and 5.

Having said that it still looks fantastic in grey but not outstandingly awesome  :nerd:

Is it Pure White though? As its a show car I'm 99.99% sure it will be Oryx. Looks phenomenal!

Think these photos are quite representative of what a 'white' GTD would look like whether Oryx or Pure.

Oryx will maybe have a blue hue in certain lights and the pure are more a brilliant and dare I say 'pure' white from ones I have seen on forecourt - This is unlike the Audi Amalfi white which has a creaminess much like pepper white on Mini with difference to white easily seen.

These photos have the grey calipers so think this pretty much looks like the ones we will see in UK -Think the Nogaro look great against white with their black accents and being spokes they show discs/calipers great and having seen in motion on video now, the discs and calipers are readily seen also - These photos are ones that finally had me sold on my choice :)

I think it looks really nice, the Red and Grey go really well against each other.
